Katherine was appointed to the BGL Group Board in November 2018 as Non-Executive Director representing Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB).

Katherine joined CPPIB in 2017 and is responsible for financial services private equity investments in Europe. Prior to joining CPPIB, Katherine was a Principal at Crestview Partners where she led and managed investments in insurance, specialty finance and business services.  Prior to Crestview, Katherine was a Principal in Blackstone’s private equity group, in both New York and London, and invested across a variety of sectors, with a focus on financial services. She previously held positions at Capital Z Partners and Morgan Stanley. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Ascot Underwriting Limited where she also chairs the remuneration committee.  She has previously held directorship roles in several financial and business services companies including NEP Group, DS Services, Arxis Capital and Alliant Insurance Services.

Katherine holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she was awarded a Joseph Wharton fellowship, and a BA with general and departmental honors from the Johns Hopkins University.
